Maldives in Indonesia, Gili Trawangan Island

DAY 2

The first most important thing before starting my trip, BREAKFAST

This is a part of Lombok's Island, just capture it OMW to the harbour

The second day trip started, we headed to the harbour, Bangsal's Harbour in Lombok. 

Why did we go to there? Because tonight we will stay in Indonesia's Maldives lol

Yaaayyyy!!! Gili Trawangan Island, here we go !

Private cars and taxis are not allowed to enter the harbour's area, our taxi driver was only able to drive up to the terminal which is adjacent to the harbour. So we take a Cidomo from the terminal to harbour, because that was the only one transportation which can enter the harbour area.

The price is quite cheap Rp 20,000 / 4 people and takes only 5 minutes.

Cidomo looks like a delman in Jakarta,right? 

WELCOME TO BANGSAL'S HARBOUR

When we got there, we immediately bought 4 tickets to the counter with the destination to Gili Trawangan Island (actually there are 2 other Gili islands, Gili Meno and Gili Air, but it was only for people who like diving and turtle), The price is very cheap at Rp 15,000 / person

Only waiting for about 10 minutes we were told to board the ship, so here is our ship with the blue colour :P

Here some tips for you who are planning to go to the island of Gili Trawangan :

1. Do not bring a lot of  things ! Just what you need

2. Do not bring luggage, just bring a backpack or travel bag

3. Just use casual outfit, Tshirt and short pants it's enough

4. Do not wear good shoes! It's enough to wear flip-flops

5. You must  put off your flip-flops when you boarded the ship, because the waves keep coming and it will carry away your flip-flops

6. Hold tight the ship body while boarding and keep the balance of your body because the waves keep coming

After my hair wets of the salty water and the big waves, about half an hour of being on the water, we finally arrived at our destination !!! Yayyy.... Thanks God (:

See how crowded this small island, and all the people i saw were western people. I even almost forgot that I was in Indonesia, i think that i am in Maldives ! LOL

WELCOME TO GILI TRAWANGAN'S ISLAND

And then we must take a cidomo again, because this island is not allowed to use the engined vehicle. There only have 2 transportation, cidomo and bicycles. Therefore do not make trouble to yourself with a lot of stuff (tips: I left my big suitcase in my last night hotel in Lombok and went to the Gili islands with a small travel bag).

So, there is no engined vehicle means there is no pollution here! The air is very very fresh and not polluted !

Only 5 minutes on Cidomo, we arrived to the hotel and here's our welcome drink

So, here's our villa tonight ! Do you know what kind of house is this?

This is a traditional house of lombok, it called Lumbung Hut and here's some pictures...

So, the second floor is our room and there's terrace in front of our room

I go downstairs again to see the bathroom, there are 2 access to go to the bathroom from inside the room and from outside, but still we must to use the stairs because the bathroom is on the 1st floor :(

This is the way from outside, there's a small gate to come into the bathroom, and ....

Surpriseeeee, it's OUTDOOR BATHROOM !!!

But I'm not surprised anymore because I have known the uniqueness of this hotel before and I want to try it :P

Details of my villa tonight :

1. My room which is located in 2nd floor

2. The way and small gate to go the bathroom from outside

3. The bathroom with shower and  traditional jar

4. The toilet, wastafel and the stairs to go upstairs to my room ( The inside access from room to toilet and bathroom )

After that we go to the our hotel's beach, here's the pictures...

and then we had late lunch at the beach 

After I filled up my energy, it's time to get rid of the energy :P

I'm hunting for a good bike's rental......

Finally,  I found a bike that suit me ( The colour's orange ) and certainly should have a cart to put my bag,yayyy !!!

The price is very cheap, only Rp 20.000 for 2 hours !

Heard songs while cycling and got some fresh air, it's a fun summer vacation ever !

Finally, after 1 hour cycling I arrived at the coast ! The place where we can see the perfect sunset and they said it's very pretty to see sunset from this place. I arrived early so I had to wait,so it was a good idea to take some pictures while waiting LOL

The sand's  very soft, smooth and white !

It's a perfect sunset, can you see there is a mountain beside the sunset ?

The coast's pretty crowded because many people who are waiting to see the sunset. 

When the sunset was over and the sky was getting dark, they(including me) started cycling again to come back to the hotel's area.

In the mid-way home I saw some western peoples are playing volleyball.

The sky was getting dark and the lights already turned on, looked so beautiful isn't it?

At night we went to the night market and the place is very crowded and full of western people
